Summary:
The purpose of this program is to provide technical assistance to rural water systems that are experiencing day-to-day operational, financial, or managerial issues. Applicants may request assistance from the National Rural Water Association (NRWA) or their local Rural Utilities Service (RUS) office.
Assistance may be requested for the following topics:
- Board training
- Management and finance
- Operation and maintenance
- Leak detection
- Water treatment
- Regulatory compliance
- Facility security
- Loan application and reporting
- Disaster and emergency assistance
